Pitch Night is back for 2026!
It's with great enthusiasm that we're announcing the return of our Pitch Night events in 2026. We'll be hosting three events, starting with our first on April 30th from 5pm - 8pm at Backside Brewing. We hope you'll join us!
PRIZES
1st Prize - $2,500
2nd Prize - $1,000
3rd Prize - $500
Audience Favorite - $250 + Crowd Contributions
Interested in pitching? This year, we're looking to support early stage, local small businesses who are focused on growth and expansion.
Our five contestants for the April 30th event have been selected. We are now accepting applications for our August 13th event. Deadline to apply is June 10th. Click below for more details and to fill out an application.
Why We Do It
GrowthTalks is produced by Umpqua Economic Development Partnership. As a Douglas County economic development organization, part of what we focus on is workforce and entrepreneurial development. The ability of entrepreneurs to start new businesses and scale them is critical for future economic growth in our county. Pitch Night events allow us to grow our startup community and lead entrepreneurs down a pathway to success.
